The objective of this promotion was to increase order size to 12 cases of product which was a full pallet. The goal was to increase profitability by increasing sales and also decreasing handling costs.
A custom collection of exciting merchandise was developed for the merchandise redemption program. A four color flyer was produced showing the prizes that could be won and explaining the rules for the program. Prizes included such things as Panasonic CD Player, a Sport Dome Tent, Skill Cordless Drill and a Guess Bracelet Watch.
Customers were instructed to mail copies of their qualifying invoices along with their prize coupon to gift headquarters. In this manner the bottler avoided any administrative overhead for the program.
